Fire-changing glaze has gone through more than 1000 years of history with many ups and downs, at times, it seemed to have been lost with the rapid development of the industry. Accumulating more than 40 years of experience, the couple Francois Jarlov and Phan Thi Thuy Mai returned from France to Vietnam to realize their desire to bring the true beauty of this handmade fire-changing glaze into life, starting with a research workshop in the Mekong Delta named Dong Gia.

After 16 years, Dong Gia is proud to become a high-quality fire-glazed ceramic brand, based on the 1,300-degree firing technique, creating a layer of impressively varied colors and patterns. Each Dong Gia product is a 100% synthesis of the quintessence of Vietnamese handcrafting, selected domestic raw materials, unique glaze colors and impressive artistry, under the guidance of experienced French artisan - Francois Jalov.
